Project on Crisis, Urban regeneration Art Workshop, KR

Daetigogae Green Village, 2023.

This project, themed around "crisis," was held in a village in Busan. Addressing four key crisis keywords—#climate crisis, #racial conflict, #women, and #relationships—the project sought to "restore and connect relationships" and to find clues, courage, and hope to resolve the crises we currently face.

The project took place in "Daetigogae Green Village," a mountainside village where you can see rooftops from above and alleys connecting people who live with their doors wide open. We designed a unique identity using the shape of the rooftops as a graphic element and reimagined the entire village as a theme park called "Daeti Land." Through various games that express relationships, such as memory games and puzzles based on rooftop shapes, the theme park conveyed a message of connection and empathy to overcome the crises we face today.
