Colucci Municipal Community Center, 2024

The iOiO Studio Graphic Design Workshop, held in July and August 2024, was a great success in fostering children's creativity and design skills. Participants learned the fundamentals of graphic design, including how to handle shapes, colors, and composition, and used various mediums to freely express their imagination. The workshop proceeded with active participation and high satisfaction, allowing children to naturally develop their artistic sense through fun, play-based activities.

Abstract Collages This workshop invited participants to transform simple shapes into creative, interactive compositions. Using different colored paper, fasteners, and scissors, they assembled pieces to create abstract figures or characters with moving joints. This fun activity helped them learn how to assemble and create moving forms from collages.

Flowing Cakes In this workshop, participants used ink and stencils to create fun patterns like "flowing cakes." Children explored various techniques by layering colors and patterns to make original and colorful compositions. The activity encouraged creativity and personal expression through the creation of unique cards and paper pieces.

Flower Mask Using a variety of pre-cut shapes like flowers, leaves, and circles, children let their imaginations run wild to create unique and colorful masks.

Paper Landscapes—Pop-up This creative workshop allowed participants to explore the world of pop-up cards. Using colored paper, scissors, and glue, children made three-dimensional cards representing scenes of flower gardens or landscapes. The activity taught them how to assemble different shapes and colors to add volume and depth to their paper creations.
