ESAD Valence-Camille Vernet middle school, 2025.

As part of the CHAAP classes at Camille Vernet middle school in Valence, we were delighted to lead the workshop "Exploring color through experience and experimentation" in partnership with ESAD in Valence. During this workshop, color was not approached as a simple theory but as a true sensory experience. The goal was to allow students to appropriate color in a personal and expressive way. Starting with the observation of nature to create their own palettes, they explored the mixing and layering of colors to develop their creativity and imagination.

Beyond the technical aspects, the workshop also encouraged students to use color as a language to express their emotions and ideas. By learning the fundamentals of composition and visual balance, they transformed their spontaneous explorations into structured and meaningful works. It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce them to the essential role of color in art and the perception of the world.
